What is CLAT?
CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test. It is a centralised entrance exam which is conducted once a year (usually in December) for admission into 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) across India. This exam requires good proficiency in English, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge, and Quantitative Techniques.
What is AILET?
AILET stands for All India Law Entrance Test. It is Conducted by the National Law University, Delhi. By clearing this exam, you get admission to NLU Delhi's undergraduate law program. To clear this exam, you should have a good knowledge of English, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Current Affairs. It is conducted once a year, usually in May.
Both exams are highly competitive and need hard work.
The CLAT 2025 will have a comprehension-based pattern of the questions for the UG Programme. Comprehension-based questions will be asked from:-
English Language (22-24 Questions), Logical Reasoning (22-24 Questions), Quantitative Techniques (10-12 Questions), General Knowledge including Current Affairs (28-32 Questions), Legal Reasoning (28-32 Questions)
